Interexpo began his career working on the House of Sciences of La Coruña and the Science Park of Granada, developing with these centers of cultural and scientific dissemination an ambitious exhibition called "Music in Action."
Pop experience
During the '80s, pop music has radically changed the music scene in Spain, also impacting on society in general. This meant breaking with the dark past that was the dictatorship and censorship to reach the international music scene. One of the most internationally known figures who participated in this movement was the film director Pedro Almodóvar, along with groups such as Alaska and Los Pegamoides, The Zombies, Radio Futura, and many other musicians, writers, journalists, illustrators, designers, photographers, etc.The journalist Jesus Ordovás was a first-hand witness of the birth of Madrid's night-life (La Movida) and the Spanish new wave, gathering a collection consisting of material he assembled over the past 30 years he has been on the air, with programs like “Diario Pop” (Pop Journal). Interexpo has selected this material in collaboration with Jesús Ordovás in order to develop the content of this exhibition, which has been seen in more than 20 cities in Spain and in Manchester (UK), adapted for an international audience.
